What are dental sealants?

How do you apply sealants?

Once the teeth are prepped, the sealant material (a BPA-free resin) is painted on as a liquid, using a fine tip to ensure the sealant seeps into the pits and fissures. Lastly, the sealant is hardened with a special curing light. The whole process takes just a few minutes.
